Disable touchpad in Ubuntu 10.10

Since Ubuntu 9.04, the option to disable the touchpad entirely was removed. Touchpad-indicator is small tray icon that lets you disable the touchpad quickly. Should work in Ubuntu 9.04 and up.

I forgot to mention yesterday, but one of my photos was used on the front page of the local newspaper. The Helena IR isn’t exactly the New York Times, but it’s always fun to see your work in print. The story was about Teddy Culbertson and his trip to the Winter X Games in Aspen this week. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to compete this year because he was an alternate and nobody was injured (for the first time ever).

Hello again, internet. My name is Matt. I like to make things. Music, video, photos, websites, etc, etc, etc.
I’ve had numerous, shortlived websites in the past, just like everyone else on the internet. All of them failed for lack of initiative. I have a feeling this one will be different because I have so many things going on right now that I want to share.
